A graduate of Mississippi State University and the University of Southern Mississippi, Ward earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations, as well as a Master of Science degree in Public Relations. During her tenure at MSU, Ward served as a student member of the Public Relations Association of Mississippi. Ward lives in Laurel, Mississippi, where she is a volunteer with United Way. Ward is also a former member of Jones County Young Professionals.
